Gardenia Mall

Once inside, the blue haired girl glances around to see what kind of stores they had. She hoped she wouldn't be over whelmed by how much there was.

Sonya took off her sunglasses once they were inside and took a look around the large building. Again, the concept of a shopping mall was entirely familiar to her, but the architecture and people and technology were what made it obvious she was somewhere new.

"Formal wear..." she muttered to herself, frowning again. That sounded expensive. Maybe this trip wouldn't get steered in that direction...

Upon first glance this mall is rather ordinary. An array of clothes shops, two toy shops, a food court and perhaps most remarkably, electronics store seemed to have people crowding to look at the display. Those people were mostly men, some accompanied by girls and women who looked more than a little displeased about their men goggling whatever it was they were watching.

Sonya's eyes were drawn to the crowd, though since it was so packed, she couldn't tell what it was they were looking at. "Any idea what's going on there?" she asked Stella.

Xanthe entered and was gobsmacked of the size.
"This is bigger than Magix Mall" she exclaimed.

"It sure is and they have a lots of places with items I love. Plus they are in someways superior a few things in Magix." Stella gushes as she steps inside next to Xanthe. She suddenly spies the group of people over by some store and tilts her head, "Is there a sale over there?"

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go over there and find out!!" Xanthe exclaimed.

Snow slowly make her way over to the crowd after hearing Xanthe wanting to find out. She tries to crane her neck and even jumps once or twice to try and see what these men were looking at.

Stella slowly strolls over to the crowd, wondering if this was a sale or something. She tries to move around the side of the men, trying to get a better look.

Before Stella could get up front the crowd erupted in a cheer. "Touchdown" they roared in near unison and one guy made a particularly nasty gesture involving his hips trusting and his hand on his nether region loudly proclaimed: "TAKE THAT 49ERS!" His girlfriend was easy to spot, it was the girl who tried to be invisible in shame of her man. The other women merely gestured indignantly as thy saw a football game steal their dates.

"That doesn't look.....appropriate. What should we do?" Xanthe asked, looking disgusted at that gesture.

"We could turn off whatever barbaric thing they're watching off or change it to something they wouldn't like." Snow suggests as her own feeling of disgust and disdain for this behavior increases. What were these dimwit men thinking?

Immediately one of the women gestured frantically while saying "no" several times in rapid succession. "Don't turn it off, that's a bad idea," she said and just sighed exasperatedly. "They might be louts, but trust me, this is better than the alternative," she explained.

Xanthe beckoned the woman, trying to offer an escape from the crowd.

"So leaving them here to misbehave in an inappropriate manner is a better alternative?" Snow asks in a bewildered tone, finding that very odd. She turns to Xanthe and the others, wondering if they should just go to another part of the mall or do something about this.

"Well, i rather have her escape this mess and have her come with us" Xanthe suggested.

Sonya's face hardened as she realized what was going on. A sport? How boring. And for this idiot to be so inconsiderate of the people around him. She knew she was hardly a pillar of morality herself, but damn, dude, there were kids around.

Surely, if anyone deserved to be relieved of a bit of money, it was someone like him...

Just a little wasn't that bad, right? She craned her neck again, trying to see where in the crowd the dumbass was now. How easy a target he made himself would also be a factor in this decision.

[Sonya's perception]
At first glance it's obvious the guys' eyes are glued to the screen portraying an American football game. One of the team matched one of the guy's jersey. The girlfriends were mostly chattering among themselves finding some common ground and sharing some indignant glances when one of the guys or multiple cursed at something happening in the game. Other people seemed indifferent of the small group os men watching the game like this, though the louder they get, the more eyes are drawn at them.

[The woman]
She looked a bit strangely towards Snow. "You know how guys are with their football games, they get wild like that." she said and then bit her lip. "He told me weeks ago he wanted to watch this game, but I forgot and kinda forced his hand. Please forgive him, it's partly my fault," the women said in a hushed tone.

"I don't know how guys are when it comes to this game. So this is a first for me even hearing about this game." Snow didn't know what to think at this point. This woman shouldn't be blaming herself for boyfriends actions. After all, it was his call to act immature in public. Frowning, the blue haired girl finally speaks, "Don't put blame on yourself, he should have reminded you that this game was going to be."

Eyes would be off of her, that's for sure. Misdirection was her greatest ally, and she'd be up to her neck in it. And with the crowd so tightly packed, bumping into someone wouldn't be strange at all...

With such a surplus of targets, Sonya could take her pick. Where was crotch guy? If he was anywhere towards the middle at this point, he'd be her first choice.

[Sonya's extended perception]
The one previously making the crass gesture now was in the middle of five rhythmically jumping guys who have their arms clasped on each other's shoulder, chanting something, almost akin to a shared battle cry. However what they chanted was at the very least as obscene, if not more so than the previous gesture at the expense of the opposing team.

[The woman]
"Right," she said looking completely bewildered. "Anyways, just leave them," she stated in a resigned tone. "You're not from around here, are you?" the woman wondered.

Xanthe looked at Stella.
"I look around for some sales for ya" she told the sun fairy. She wasn't going to let that day go to waste.

"No I'm not." Snow answers, looking at the ground, unsure if she should say if she was from another world or not.

Target acquired.

Muttering something about getting a closer look, Sonya moved in, slipping through the group's fringes into the center. She sidled up behind her chosen mark and idly leaned forward a bit, looking like she was just trying to see the screen between him and whoever he was locking arms with. Her hand, however, was in her jacket pocket, which was carefully reached out in front of her. Just close enough to his back pants pockets so that whenever he landed one of his stupid jumps, she should be able to feel if there was a wallet in there. And if there was, she could use his bouncing to carefully tap said wallet up to the top of the pocket.

He was making this too easy on her. He could hand her his money himself at this point and it would only be marginally less effort on her part to take it.
