Dinning hall

Sonya shrugged, looking like she was already considering the viability of sneaking out. "It's good to keep our options open. We'll have to see if the field trips are really any good."

The cooks started getting ready with putting out lunch and dinner meals for students. They looked pretty happy about their menu. One cook places up the menu in chalk on the wall by the door, leaving the chalk there)

"Spinach wrap with eggs and rice. Roast chicken with basil. Carrots, corn and potatoes. Roast Beef club. Country steak."

Ashleigh walked passed the dining hall, and looked at the chalkboard. She looked both sides and began to write positive words on the board, like enjoy, bon appetite and come and chill around the menu. She sighed as she put down the chalk and walked away. Though she felt good inside, she felt a bit sick to her stomach. She doesn't show her kind side often, but still. She couldn't bare to mess up the menu since it looked good.

Feeling kind sluggish, Noko yawns softly as she takes a seat at a random table. She had spent most of the night trying to write a song for herself and it had not gone well at all, thus she gave up at 3AM. Now with it being 9AM, the silver haired woman grumbles softly, looking her stack of pancakes, cursing the fact there was no grape jam for them. She however pours syrup on them and begins to eat.

Xanthe strolled in and grabbed her breakfast. She sat next to Noko.
"Morning~" she said in a cheerful tone.

"Morning." Noko responses grumpily, jabbing a small portion of her food with her fork.

"What's going on? You don't sounds ok" Xanthe asked, concerned about Noko.

Noko pouts as she tries to spear a bit of pancake, but looks at Xanthe once she had done so, "I stayed up most of the night...writing lyrics to a song I want to sing."

"Can I have a look at it? I might be able to help ya out" Xanthe asked and suggested at the same time.

Noko stares blankly at Xanthe for a moment, unless what she should do. On one hand it wouldn't be a bad idea, a second pair of eyes were always good. On the other, it was kind of personal at that moment and she didn't want to let her inner most feelings show. She pushes her fork on her plate briefly, but nods, "I've left it in my dorm, but of course you can look at it, I'll take any help I can get right now."

"Excellent" Xanthe exclaimed, before taking a bite of toast. She wondered what was making Noko so much fustration.

Noko begins stabbing her food again, wishing she hadn't stayed up so late in the night. She gently rubs her eyes after her next bite "It's nothing very good even though I want to become a singer."

"Well, I am almost finish with my loft, so we can do a demo and I can pass it on to my manager. I'm sure we can find something for you. Heck, we can use your original piece as part of it" Xanthe suggested.

"Wait what?" Noko remarks upon hearing the manager bit, feeling confused all of a sudden. When did Xanthe have a manager? Was it her work manager or was it some kind of manager for the music industry? If it was the former she was confused for nothing, if it was the latter, then how did she know them?

The prospect of doing demo did seem pretty appealing at that moment, thought she did wish to do when she was all grumpy and the like. "I guess we could do that, I wouldn't mind singing other songs in a demo either. But I do have a minor question, what manager are you even speaking about?"

"I'm a teen idol" she whispered, "So i know some few friends in the business, including my manager. If one of the managers like you enough, he or she will sign you on." Xanthe then began to daydream of doing collabs with Snow in some of her shows.

"Y...you're a t...teen idol?" Noko stammers, her mind racing with this new information, before it suddenly hit her that she was speak to the Xanthe. She just looks at her dormmate unsure what to say, but wondered if she'd be good enough to even be wanted by one of them. Her mind briefly wanders to being on stage, singing for people, but she snaps back to reality, "A...are you sure they'd even like me?"

"Well, there is one way to find out, isn't there? I'm just waiting for the recording equipment now, and going to submit an open night after the end of year dance is done....if we are going to do it" Xanthe replied.

"I guess I'll have to try and see what happens." The girl answers, twirling her hair slighting with her index finger, feeling a bit nervous about all this. She did give Xanthe a questioning look, "What do you mean an open night? And we have a end of the year dance too? Why wouldn't the end of year dance happen?"

"Um....i kinda got asked to preform....." Xanthe admitted, "But i don't have all of my gear with me, or getting my back up band in on time.....I'm really freaking out right now...."

Noko smiles at her, knowing she could at least do something for Xanthe in this situation, "That's wonderful that you got asked and if you can't get your backup band here, I could help you out and I'm sure we could get others to help as well. I'm sure you could borrow gear from the music cafe if you can't get yours."

"You think so?" Xanthe asked, "I mean, I don't want to damage any equipment...."

"We could ask outright to see what the school says." Noko answers with a smile, "Best to ask now then not at all."

"I guess we could" Xanthe sighed, and took a drink of coffee.

"Not like there is anything to lose with asking." Noko adds as she jabs her food once more, but this time a bit too hard and turning the piece of pancake to mush.

"Mind if I sit with you two?" Musa walks up with a tray of food, having arrived in the cafe some minutes ago. She also hadn't heard a single iota of these two conversation. so she was clueless to what they had been speaking about. Maybe it was better to just sit alone.Seems they might not want company Musa thinks, rethinking her current action.
