[Hooded figure 1]
Out of nowhere a bright green liquid hurtled towards Sonya. If Sonya is hit she'll start to feel queasy. The bolt of green liquid came from above, descending in a steep incline, this is the only indication of her approximate location unless one can see exceptionally well in darkness.

[Hooded figure 2]
Seeing chaos ensue all around her she produced an exasperated grunt, which was interrupted by Xanthe's blast. A glint showed in her eyes as she fixed her eyes on Xanthe. "Spectral dissociation!" The caster screamed as she became enveloped in an ominous white glow, the same kind of glow that would surround Xanthe.

Spectral dissociation: Separates the target's spirit from the body creating a feint semi-translucent image of the target roughly 5 ft away. The target will be in a helpless fugue state for the duration of this spell (2 rounds.) After this effect ends, spell casting is inhibited for another round.

[Leather clad fighter]
He was powerless to keep Sonya from launching the gust slash and they both hit their mark. Only the second seemed to fully connect though as the first looked like it deflected partially off the armor as it landed in a bit of an awkward angle. With fervor the man tries to break his dark shackles, but to no avail.

Is knocked back a couple of feet by the mind grenades. Posses effect expired.

[Shinra]
Shinra is successfully able to form the staff and will have access to its full function in the upcoming round for as long as the spell lasts.

Roll shakes his head as he recovers from the possession after having slid back by the previous blow and spies the white glow from that ghost user. Gripping his branch tightly, the young man moves quick in his arc and rushes at the hooded figure from the side, swing the branch full force, hoping that this side attack would surprise them.

Only seeing one foe, Snow frowns slightly, wondering where the second attacker has gone off to and further more, where Sonya is, since she hadn't seen her since this entire fight began. The blue haired girl turn around, trying to make out anyone beyond the trees, but due to blurry vision has issues making anything out. "Sonya, where are you?" She mutters just loudly enough for maybe Vivian and Xanthe to hear.

Vivian startled when she saw the white glow appear, but it was already too late to try and prevent the spell from being fired. Despite this Vivian felt responsible for Xanthe, exposing her, flying next to her. "Don't fail me now," she said as lightning started to spark all over her body and her hands glowed bight orange. "Time for a peppered fireball!" she all but shouted as a massive ball of fire sparking with actual lightning short forth from her hands towards the hooded figure still grounded.Her hands glowed red and smokd in the process but not from the magic.

Direction: she'll direct the fireball in such was as to avoid allies, especially roll. She places the thing slightly in the air in effort to illuminate the surroundings briefly in effort to reveal the poison user as a double whammy. it will however be unavoidable that the initial point of impact will affect some of the forest as well.

Lightning charged fireball: After a short windup Vivian releases a massive slow moving fireball crackling with lighting.
Hitting a living target: The blast will erupt in a massive fiery explosion with bright flashes of lighting and dealing massive fire and electricity damage in a 30ft radius. (50% fire, 50% electricity damage)
Hitting non-living target: The blast will erupt in a massive fiery explosion with bright flashes of lighting. Any flammables will ignite, metal will glow and become impossible to touch for several minutes or even warp due to the heat.
Vivian’s hands will be singed from the sheer energy of the spell, inhibiting her from casting this spell again for at least eight hours.

Vivian....if only you knew about sneak attacks... Xanthe thought. She let out a blast towards the cloaked person, hoping it would hit the person in time.

The bright green in the darkness was just enough for Sonya to dart out of the way of the attack. Barely. It was still close enough that just the smell made her stomach start to churn. She tried to remedy this by backing up further, until she was at Snow's side. At that point, she nudged the fairy's shoulder with her own. "Right here."

She swept her hands in front of her again, still aiming her Gust Slash at the armored assailant. She could deal with mages later, but a couple more blows from that buckler or rapier and she'd be out. He needed to go down before he got the chance.

Vivian was able to hit the cloak who was casting the spell, scorching their clothes and giving a burn to the midriff. To her dismay, they got up and restart casting the Spectral dissociation spell, not only affecting Xanthe yet again, but Vivian as well.

Also, the fireball lighten up the forest, exposing Soyna's and hooded figure 2's position.

[Roll's attack]
Roll just missed his target, but due to the sudden light, he was slightly blinded and as a result, tripped over a root of a tree and fell to the ground. He was just lucky to escape with a graze on his left cheek and right hand, though he was still clutching on to his weapon of choice.

With the canopy of the forest igniting the flying caster was reveal dead center above the path the group was following. Startled by this she cast a spell headed for Shinra, the same vile green liquid that went for Sonya but failed to hit. Preemptively the figure started to move in erratic patterns to foil any potential incoming ranged attacks, though her movements didn't seem fluid as the damage she has taken is clearly demanding its toll.

This guy tries to squirm with all his force against the bonds of darkness restraining him, again not succeeding in breaking free. The man's squirming however did cause one of the gust slashes to deflect off one of the dark bonds and end up in the crown of a nearby free, causing small branches and leaves to rain down on the man, though no piece large enough to do any damage. The second one however hit true as well as anyone could wish causing a second deep gash straight through a vulnerable spot in the man's armor. A small trickle of blood immediately leaks out of it. His face starts to look a bit pale compared to the start of the fight.

With her vision still blurry, the blue haired fairy is barely able to make out the second hooded figure, but does see the attack. Snow releases a short breath and a ball of light forms in her hand. "This had better work. Solar Burst." She tosses it with everything she had at the second cloaked figure, hope it would explode within range of them.

Roll quickly pushes himself up from the ground, grumbling a swear under his breath as he does so. Clutching his breach tight, he tries to hone in on the hooded figure, but his vision is clouded slightly due to the previous light.

Vivian twirled in the air as she saw her spell land, only to be caught in her cheery pose, suspended mid air surrounded with the same ominous white glow as Xanthe. A mirror image in the exact same pose stood hazily a few feet away. mentally nothing registered, neither pain nor feelings, there was just nothing.

Xanthe's spirit sat on the ground as her body was frozen in place. There was nothing that she could do for a while.
As if things didn't get any worse! she thought to herself.

Sonya flinched once again at the bright flash of light, but at least now she knew where that green barf-goo had come from. Those casters were becoming more and more of an annoyance, with all these curses and poisons...but her primary target was still conscious, and it would just be rude if she started ignoring him now.

"Give up already," she snarled, sending a final volley of wind blades his way. As strong as she'd made the shadow tendrils, she didn't think they were going to hold much longer.

Looking at Vivian suspended in her cheer for landing that horribly painful spell she used her ghostly hurl spell to toss a fat Branch in Vivian's direction while panting wildly through her teeth, expelling drool. Hey eyes held naught but madness, this woman snapped.

Still processing being seen this woman's attentions were clearly drawn elsewhere, making Snow's spell hit true. With a howl she covered her eyes in pain and find herself completely unable to see. This made her a sitting duck from the followup chain that landed beautifully and wrapped itself tightly around her legs. Her arms are still free, which she used to cast a spell in a completely random direction, nowhere near anyone was standing or flying.

Right before he found himself able to move again two devastating air blade hit true on him, leaving two fierce slashing wounds and blood dripping down his chest. When the bonds lifted, he sagged on his legs, but fixed his eyes on Sonya. Then he turned and bolted for the brush, seeking to flee in the cover of the forest and darkness.

[Snow]
Feels her leg hurting significantly less, though it's still tender.

With her vision not longer blurring and her leg slightly hurting, Snow starts feeling a tiny bit better and she gazes around quickly. Her eyes center on the branch being thrown by that ghost user, "Light's hand!" She shouts, hoping her shield would protect Vivian or Xanthe in time.

With his vision now cleared up and now being able to see the Ghost magic user clearly, Roll dashes at his target, swinging the branch at them as hard as he can.

Xanthe sighed.
"What am I suppose to do now? I mean I'm powerless for the time being..." she told herself.

Sonya trailed her target's movement until she could no longer see him through the trees, and took a single moment to let out a breath. Her initial wound wasn't getting any better, and casting through it was sapping more energy than normal. Her moment of reprieve over, she took to the air, hovering in the clear space above the path and level with the surrounding trees. About level with where the hooded figure at the end of the chain was flying.

Sonya had never played tee-ball as a kid, but she figured she could make up for any missed experience now. This clown was already on the stand for her - all she had to do was take a swing. Using her uninjured arm, she hurled a Shadow Ball forward and hoped it would be enough to finish the mage off.

Despite seeing the shield spring up around Vivian, still suspended in her cheery pose, she seemed about ready to toss another fat Branch in Vivian's directions. However, Roll landed a flawless blow right where the clothing exposed a nice, already tender, piece of skin. With a howling shriek the caster's knees buckled though she still managed to halfheartedly fling a projectile roughly in Vivian's direction, showing no signs of stopping despite an obviously desperate situation.

[Hooded figure 2]
"I CAN'T SEE! I CAN'T SEE, HELP ME I CAN'T SEE!" She shouted while flailing violently, unable to flee due to the chain. She pulled hard but in her panicked state she failed to properly tug powerfully enough to break her bond. Upon the shadow ball landing flawlessly the caster hit the ground with a dull thud. Tougher than she looked, she wasn't actually out. She softly whimpered: "I yield, please spare me"

Since he disappeared into the forest he's neither been heard nor seen.

Seeing that this ghost user wasn't going to let up and was half crazed, he swings the branch at the back of her head to knock her out. He hadn't heard what the poison user had said at all.

Snow looks at the poison user with a bit of pity in her eyes and replies in a kind voice, "Of course we'll spare you. I don't think any of us are the type to murder those that attack us. Just take your friend and go please."

Without a target in the sky, Sonya lowered herself down near Snow but remained a few inches in the air. She wasn't so sure about immediately accepting surrender like this, but she didn't want to make any enemies out of her allies at the moment, either, so she'd hold back for now and see what the general consensus was when this was over. They only had one more mage to take down, anyway, and she wouldn't last much longer.

"Keep an eye on her, okay?" Sonya asked the pale-haired fairy, gesturing towards the grounded mage as she herself approached the tree line again. For now, she'd indulge her paranoia and keep an eye out in case the dude with the sword tried to sneak back.

With a violent smack landing right in the nape of the neck she was one for. She fell motionlessly to the ground except for a leg twitching for a couple of seconds before ceasing to move as well.

Sat on the ground crying while covering her eyes, begging to have her sight restored and assuring people she was done fighting as she couldn't see how people would approach her.

The suppression lifted.

Releasing a breath as the ghost user falls to the ground, Roll release the branch from his hand. He bends down to check on the pulse of the ghost user, to see if they were alright.

"You're sight will return in twenty seconds or so." Snow says kindly, flying towards the poison user and gently reach esa hand out to them, "Winter Warmth." She was attempt to heal some of the damage done from the battle.

The suppression around the young woman fades away and she stumbles forward slightly. She looks to the group with a worried expression on her face due to having seen everything during the fighting. She quickly makes tracks over to Shinra, bending down next to check on him. "We should leave once everyone is able to move safely."
