Gummies and Yummies

She skirts to a stop, seeing the store on her anxious run. Her stomach rumbles. She looks down, "Alright, be quiet..." She looks up and walks through the doors.

(What does the store look like? Like setup. Is it one of those places with the stations or is it a store. Are there tables?)

The door didn't have a chime, but the place has several large tables towards the back, along with rows and rows of self serve stations. The upper floor also have the same type of self serves stations Also towards the right side of the store, there is a set up with fudge and other goodies that are fresh backed. The walls are a purple with dark green and Red pattern mixed in.

She walked, looking at the different stations. She stopped to see one featuring a candy from her island. Pearas.

She reached forward, but pulled back, for a lingering shadow was still in her mind. She walked away and found herself at a gummy dragon station. She looked to the side, wondering where the bags were.

The bags were nowhere to be seen on the side of this station. The box that held them had been taken or not even replaced.

"Yikes..." she muttered. She called out, wondering if an employee would come. "Hey, do you know where I can buy this?" She bit her lip.

A lone geeky fellow in a red fountain uniform is the only one close by that could hear if he didn't have headphones on blasting music. No employee did show themselves either.

She frowned. "Well, maybe somethings upstairs..." she said, leaving the stations, trying to find stairs or an elevator.

The stairs could be seen over the rows of candy and was a simple staircase of mahogany wood that went up and to the right. It didn't have kind of carpet.

She peered over the stations and saw the stairs. She climbed over them once she reached it, and found herself at the second floor. "Now to find the cashier... or employee, I guess..." she muttered, looking around. Some candies did peek her interest, but her tastes had to be set aside in the search. Afterall, she couldn't steal it.

Well, she could, but...

"Why am I the only person to restock..." Came a soft voice from some row of candy close by.

She trotted over to the voice. "Excuse me?" she peeped quietly, trying to be polite.

"Did someone say something?" The voice calls, only to be followed by a small cry of pain and the sound of boxes falling.

"Eek, are you okay?" she squeaked, trotting over to the source of the voice. Her hair bounced along with her like falling water.

The person groans as they grunt getting up. They look up to see where the voice was coming from before answering, "I will be, I just hope none of this merchandise is busted."

"Oh, ok," she said, turning away and looking at something else. Realizing he or she would need help, she whirled her head back and knelt down. "Hey, need help stacking these?"

"I'd appreciate it miss." The worker remarks, picking up one box and trying to slip it onto the shelf.

She picked up one and hefted it on the same shelf, just next to his box. She hefted another. Then tried the next, but she found it too heavy. She began to try once more.

"Let me help you." The worker offered and begins to lift with Tsol.

"Ah, thanks," she said, aiding the lift as best she could as her arms strained visibly.

"Almost there." The worker remarks, lifting as hard as they could so the box was just on the edge of the shelf. "Just one push." They mutter and begins pushing it onto the shelf.

With the best of her might, she gives one great push, letting out a puff of air.

The worker also gives one last push and the box slides onto the shelf rather slowly. "Thanks for the help there."

"No prob," she said, clutching her arm's joint. "Anyway, do you have saltwater taffy? Like the kind they make back on..." Her voice abruptly stopped. "Just saltwater taffy," she mumbled, feigning a smile.

"We have several varieties, its just this way." The worker answers and with a wave of their hand, they lead on to where it is.
