Ferry service

Having spent a few minutes find the place, the young specialists walks towards the boats, looking for the ferryman.

The ferry leading to rosebush island were big platform boats that allowed the hosting of quite large crowds. So the wait here wouldn't take long.

Kiko hopped excitedly as they approached the boats. Somehow he had gotten his paws on a little sailor's hat to fit the theme.

"Looking snazzy there Kiko." Roll couldn't help but smile at how happy the bunny is. He wondered how long it had been since Kiko had been on any kind of adventure. Regardless, the young man walks towards the Rosebush island ferry, looking for who was in charge at the front of it.

A fat man occupied a small station operating an entrance gate leading to the ferry. he apathetically looked at each slip and grunted when anyone could pass.

Roll slowly approaches the man and holds up the slip to show the man.

The man took the slip, scanned it and gave Roll the exact same grunt as the dozens before him and likely the dozens following. He nodded his head slightly toward a moored ferry with a sign pointing to it saying: "Rosebush island"

Roll just follows the gaze towards the boat, boarding it with little hesitation. He does however, glancing around to see what or who is in his surroundings.

initially Roll would find no one in particular, but the ghost hunters from before arrived at the ferry and boarded the same boat Roll was on.

The young man keeps his eyes on them for as long as he can, but takes note to avoid them over there. His attention soon shifts back to observing his surroundings, while also darting his eyes back to Kiko to keep an eye on him.

When Roll looks at them their eyes meet more than once. The man and the woman were still fervently deliberating with one another ignoring a third guy, who filmed their entire discussion with a camcorder, which was also pointed towards Roll at times, or was he just imagining?

Roll would just ignore the guy with the camera, they were just doing their show, so why would they want to film him. Roll however, places his hand in his pocket to muck with his phone in there. He decides to take it out and opens the camera app, "How about a picture Kiko, we can make a postcard out of it something."

Kiko jumped excitedly at the notion and struck a precarious pose on the railing of the ferry.

When the boat lurched into motion quite suddenly, the bunny threatened to lose his balance and falling to the water side.

Roll quickly makes a move to prevent Kiko from off the side by trying to grab the rabbits' arm, but also using his other arm as a block to prevent the rabbit from going overboard.

Kiko's hat would plummet into the water but the bunny himself would land safely in the cup of Roll's hand, looking relieved and grateful for the save as it wiped a droplet of sweat from its forehead with the back of its paw.

Roll breaths a sigh of relief as he pulls the bunny back into more stable footing, "I think its best I just take your picture on the main deck. Sorry about the hat."

Mournfully Kiko watched how his hat was washed away by the shoal. The little guy was more than happy to comply with Roll's suggestion.

the rest of the trip was without any noteworthy events, though Kiko took great care in staying quite a distance from the railing just for safety.

Smiling, Roll bends down to pat Kiko gently on the head and takes out his phone, "Let's try for that picture one more time."

Gleefully the bunny would strike several different poses, seeming to have forgotten about the lost hat already.

Roll lines up his camera, setting up the proper focus and framing of the bunny, before taking several pictures. After ten or so shots, he changes over to see which picture was the best and shows them all to Kiko.

Kiko seems equally enthusiastic with each photo, not really useful to discern which one is best.

Roll taps his chin for a moment and selects the fifth one which looked as if Kiko was wave his ears back and forth like a goofball. "Well you do take a good photo."
