Photonis deliberated for a moment what the girl said, though the word 'job' had a very different meaning in Photonis' dictionary than it had in others. She grimaced for a moment and then asked: "You don't happen to know where the arena is?" Assuming Magix would have similar arenas to Spaika.

"Arena?" The girl questions with an eye brow raised, "Are you talking like a sport arena or something for music?"

"I guess sport, whatever it is you guys call it when two people fight one another in an arena," she said and shrugged. "So where can I find one? Then I might be able to make some money."

"We don't have any kind of fighting arena's here. We do have sanctioned sports like boxing, but that's governed by rules and aren't the type of things one can just say they want to do off the street." The girl answers, her lips curving into a frown, finding this new girl very odd indeed.

Photonis seemed completely taken aback by the fact there were no combat arenas around. "Then what am I supposed to do?" Photonis wondered as she realized her only real applicable skill was her combat, with which she fought herself to freedom.

"Uh, well you could try and find a place to work in town, like a book store or a coffee shop." The girl answers.

She arched an eyebrow in the girl's direction. "They've got stores especially for books? And what's coffee?" she wondered, starting to get visibly frustrated with the strange new world she entered. Everything she had prepared for but this was beyond even her wildest imagination.

"They do, lots of them in fact and coffee is a caffeinated drink made from the coffee bean." The girl is feel more and more like this girl was from some boondocks planet.

Photonis blew some air into her hair making the uneven fringe of her hair flutter briefly. Her cheeks spotted red all of a sudden and only when she asked: "There doesn't happen to be some kind of guide on this place, is there?" it became clear why.

"There is a guide to the school, but not for the planet itself, I'm sorry." The girl answers.

"I guess it's trial by fire then," she said, sounding disappointed in the beginning of the sentence but more determined by the end. "A guide for the school would be helpful tho, I'd rather not have my name stripped and tossed out because I broke a rule I didn't even know existed."

"Uh what?" The girl asks, looking very confused, "Why would you have your named stripped? That's impossible. The guide is up in the library if you need it."

"No it's not," she answered in pure confusion while looking at the girl as if she lost her mind. "Where I come from, if you have a last name to begin with, it's taken from you if you commit a crime. Hell, I only got my name four days ago and I intend to keep it for as long as I can."

"Waa? That's just so screwed up. You're born with last names here and can never ever lose them. Sure you can change it legally for a fee, but that's only if you want to. You wouldn't lose it if you committed a crime."

"I was born without one and had to buy it." Photonis said and only then she started to process what exactly the girl had just said. "Thank you. I think I'll go to the library now," she said, sounding defeated above all else.

Arriving in the dining hall before anyone else after bolting from Faragonda's office Vivian laughed as she looked for "the rotten egg" to arrive.

The rotten egg soon arrives a minute later, her face slightly flushed from the run. "I'll win next time we race Vivian, when its fair." The girl's stomach rumbles rather loudly again and the blue haired fairy blushes, "Guess I'm being reprimanded for reprimanding you for an unfair advantage."

"It was fair," Vivian lied and just chuckled when she heard the stomach growling. "Let's get some chow, I'm famished after last night!" she exclaimed and bolted enthusiastically towards the canteen lady almost pushing the girl in front of her away.

[Zaflore]
Having just picked up her food she grumbles as an impatient girl almost causes her to fall over with tray and all. She scanned the dining hall when her eye caught something out of the ordinary, a girl with her head on the table. Unobtrusively Zaf planted herself on the opposite side of the table and softly asked: "Are you okay?"

Zaflore hummed and nodded. "If you want to talk about it, I'm right here," she said a little uncertainly. She then proceeded to eat breakfast without pressuring Xanthe any further.
