Dorm Alpha

Photonis just stared blankly at the girl. "Get one, and thank me when it saves your life," she replied with a hint of contempt in her voice.

Noko just stares blankly at Photonis, wondering why she should get one, "But I don't think I'd be going into close quarters combat. I'll just be using my spells after I transform. Why would I need to learn one?"

"And if you're not the one making the choice, then what?" Photonis asked and tried to give Noko a flat handed slap in the face to make a point, holding back to make sure it stings, but doesn't to major harm.

Noko flinches a bit from the slap, holding her hand up to it, "Wha...what was that for!? Just because I questioned why I needed one, doesn't mean you should just slap me." Her face cracks slightly with anger while trying to keep her calm. Her eyes reflected confusion and a hint of tears in them because of what had just happened. If this girl was going to be a bully, then she would do what she did with bullies when she was younger.

"Had I wanted to, I could have killed you," Photonis said dryly and unapologetic. "Point is, when you have to fight isn't always up to you. But knowing how to handle the situation if it happens might save you," Photonis explained and sighed. So soft...

Noko would just nod, but doesn't remove her hand from her check, but she does gulp at being told this girl could have killed her. "But learning about those situation is one of the many reasons we're here. The odds we even run into anything threatening around here, unless its a witch or something in the wrong part of magix is slim even."

Photonis sniffs with pure contempt. "I hope I never have to count on you covering my back if push comes to shove," Photonis said and stood up. "I'll be in my room. Knock before you enter and never go there if I haven't given my express permission," she said, walked into her room and all but slammed the door shut.

Noko just looks on in shocked awe as her dormmate storms off in an rather unreasonable manner. At this point, she wouldn't want to go in Photonis room at all. Wasn't part of the reason they were there was to learn how to use their magic effectively if it was needed in combat? The girl was just plain confused at this point, but she stands up none the less and heads to her room, putting some soft pop music on and laying down on her bed.

A portal pops open.

A small figure wades through, and closes it with her wand. She closes it, and puts it back in her hair.

"Well, I never!" she huffs.

Peculiarly, her face is covered with a few chunks of icing. She turns around and jumps a little, though it is hard to describe one jumping when suspended in air.

"Oh, uh, hi!"

"Hello." Noko answers the pixie, turning around to look at her, "Why do you have frosting all over your face?"

"Well, not really long story short, I took a magic cookie, I got in a fight, and walked out with cake on my face and an angry super-strong baker pixie."

She wiped off a tiny bit of the frosting. "Does it look better now?"

Noko shakes her head, "You still have quiet a bit on your face. Let me help you." The girl stands up and head over to her dresser, pulling out a mirror. She brings it over to the pixie and holds it up.

"Sweet syrupy, soggy flapjacks!" she peeps. She looks up at the moon manipulator. "You don't happen to be a psychic fairy, right? I sure could use a telekenetic cl-" As she inspects the girl's face more, she notices a battle mark. "My stars! What happened to you?!"

"My new roommate slapped me for being "too soft" as she put it. She doesn't get we will learn to defend our selves with our classes." Noko answers the pixie softly, slowly lowering the mirror adding, "I'm not a psychic fairy, sorry."

"Too soft!" she peeped angrily once. "TOO SOFT!?" She flutters up to Noko. "It's not that you're too soft, you're more emotionally aware than her! I bet you wouldn't slap anyone, cause you don't focus on the physical, you focus on the emotions." She looked her up and down. "That's why you took it in so much to heart, right?"

"If I was angry in the heat of the moment, I would slap someone." Noko admits to Lockette, linking her hands in front of her body. "But I guess I might have taken it to heart."

"Might've?" she says in disbelief. "If you didn't take this to heart, then why are you sitting in your room listening to music? I don't think it was relaxing, I think you were caught up in thought."

Her hands clasp on her hips, and she looks around a little for a place to rest. Afterall, she's been flying all this time.

"I have been thinking about what was said. Guess I took it to heart more than I thought" Noko answers the pixie and begins to wonder what why she was looking around. Had she known exactly what Lockette was looking for, she would have offered her to take a rest on her bed, on her chair or even on her desk.

"Do you have a mini-pillow? Like a pin-pillow thing?" She looked around for one, her wings feeling a bit tired, and herself a bit more tired too due to her portal magic beforehand.

"I have a few normal pillows." She answers, shaking her head in answer to having a pin holder pillow.

"Welp, I guess a pillow will do!" she peeps. "Where's one I could use?" she asks, fluttering about searching for one not on her bed.

"Well, I just have a few on my bed and one plump one over in that chair by my desk." The girl points to said chair that has one pillow with a star on it.

"Ooh, that pillow looks comfy!" she flits over to it, and plops herself down. "Jeez, how do you not fall asleep instantly when you put your head on this, I mean I'm-" she interupted herself by faking a snore and tilting her head down with closed eyes. She grinned.

"I just use that to squeeze when I'm stressed out or feeling down." The girl only smiles at the pixie's fake sleeping, "I don't really sleep with it, haven't really tried."
