Gardenia Mall

Her curiosity sated, Sonya wandered out of the store, standing next to Snow and leaning against the storefront until the others were done. "You said you've never been here either, right?" she asked.

"Yes I did." Snow answers, looking back into the mall, "Maybe we can find something to tell us what stores are what so we aren't moving around blind out there."

"We could try to find a map, there's probably one somewhere nearby. Stella is pretty intent on the patterns, I think we've got some time before they come back out."

"Yeah, let's do that." Snow says in agreement and has an idea, "I'm sure she won't mind us going off on our own for a bit."

"Well then, we came from this way..." Sonya said, looking back from the way they'd entered. "Let's look this way." She turned around and started walking further into the mall, keeping an eye out for anything that could be a map.

Snow follows after her, gazing about as she goes to try and find that map. The mall was certain a odd place to say the least, so many shops.

Xanthe pulled up a pattern and showed Stella.
"What about this one?" she asked.

The blonde turns to look at what Xanthe is holding, "Well, this butterfly print could make for a nice for a skirt, jacket, scarf, or even a dress with a matching scarf."

Xanthe's eyes glistened. It was great to be with a fashionista like Stella.
"That would be perfect as anything!!!" she exclaimed.

Stella thinks about that statement for a moment, "Almost pretty much anything." She looks to the elder woman, "So I guess I'll take these two patterns."

Xanthe looked at the pattern. There was no way she wanted to give that pattern up. It would look cool for the entertainment outfit for the ball as a dress or something.
"I would like to have this pattern too" she told Stella.

"Make that two butterfly patterns and one star pattern." Stella immediately corrects herself, "I'll cover the cost of this for you Xanthe."

The old woman's eyes lit up with sheer joy as she took the patterns and handed them to Stella immediately. "You girls make an old woman happy. These are on the house," she said with pride in her voice. "If you've made something, would you guys show me?" the woman asked hopefully, clearly liking the fact that the young girls were into her passion, which seemed to be something for those of age here on earth.

"Of course we'll show you, but I really do feel like we should pay for these items. This is your livelihood isn't it?" Stella asks, feeling like she'd be ripping the woman off just for not paying.

Xanthe's head fulled with new costume designs and the perfect outfit.
"Come on Stella, she's giving these as a gift. And I know that we will be back here. There is more to explore, and I kinda want to know what knitting is all about" she told the sun fairy.

It might be a gift, but she'd feel better paying for it. But these patterns would draw her back here. "You're not wrong that I'll return for more patterns and we do have a lot to explore as well." She turns to the old woman and smiles, "Thank you very much ma'am for giving these to us."

'T is nothing child," the woman said in an endearing voice and finished it with a warm smile. Everything about the place indicated that profit was the least of the woman's concerns.

"Ah, here we go," Sonya said, stepping up to the map. It wasn't too far from where they started, so they could keep an eye on the needlework shop to see if Stella and Xanthe emerged while they browsed.

"Anything look good? We could check out one of the clothing stores. Or the electronics, that might be kinda funny."

Snow looks at it the map, thinking about what looks good, "Well, the electronics store looks interesting and that dollar store too." The dollar store made no sense to her, but maybe it was worth checking out.

"What's a dollar store? I doubt you buy money there, that wouldn't make sense..." Unless that was a thing on Earth? How did that work?

"I don't know." Snow utters, her eyes holding confusion on what it is, "Why don't we go and find out."

"We'll be sure to come back when we've made our clothes! Oh and do you happen to have any bags ma'am?" Stella inquires with her eyes bright.

"Sounds good to me," Sonya replied, heading in the direction the map indicated. She felt in her pocket idly as she walked, running her fingers over whatever it was she'd pulled from the wallet. Maybe she'd be able to duck into a corner in this store and see what she had...

Snow swiftly followers her, not really noticing her dormmates actions at all. She really wanted to know what this store was all about. Within moments, the blue haired woman finds herself outside the store and gazes upon it to take in its details.

Once outside the entry way, Sonya looked inside with a slight frown. "It...just looks like a normal store," she said, with a hint of disappointment. She continued to lead the way inside, hoping to find more answers if they poked around.
