"I think that as well." Snow says smiling broadly, "But I do have one question. What kind of magic do you use?"

Vivian smirked. "I use a combination of fire and electricity; like this!" She said and made a small flame appear in the palm of her hand, except this flame has minute jolts of lightning rush through it making the flame seem even more alive than any other flame would. "What about you?"

"That's rather amazing." Snow comments rather impressed, "I use a combination or psychic and light magics, also known as Justice magic. Most people come to us to help arbitrate and deal with problems."

Vivian dismissed her flame and hummed. "Psychic and light. Interesting combination. How does it work?" she asked having never seen that particular brand of magic at work. "You're not going to screw with my head, are you?" she asked in a mock concerned voice along with a huge smile since she already knew the answer.

"Well, I employ short ranged attacks with shields for protection and bashing to battle enemies." Snow raises her hand with her index finger point upwards. A small point of light appears with a shiny little barrier around it at the end of her finger tip. "I would never mess with your head, nor will I read anyone's mind. I rather dislike doing that; it's such an invasion of privacy." She turns to look at Xanthe, "What powers do you have?"

"Pontonic Crystal. It's a kind of a power of light" Xanthe replied, "Kinda funny that it happened one year ago."

"You've only had your magic a year?" Snow questions in surprise, "You must be something else to learn so much in that short time span."

"Well...i haven't. It wasn't that long ago when it happened. I haven't transformed either" Xanthe, "And this is my chance to live as a normal girl too."

"You haven't? That's rare, but its nothing bad. Some of the most powerful magic users I know didn't get their transformations til later." Snow has to think over the last part, but can't think of an explanation for it, "What do you mean normal girl?"

"Well, since I was 12, I have been a popular idol, and being super popular" Xanthe replied, "It's funny how my powers appeared became the break that I needed."

Snow nods once, taking in that information, "Your powers had an uncanny timing. I guess the right situation came along to unlock them."

"I guess so" Xanthe said, "Better than nothing."

"So what exactly happened when you discovered your magic?" Snow asks, interested in the circumstances. She also looks over to Vivian, "The same question for you as well Vivian."

"Oh I remember that day. It was really scary," she started and a small twinkle in her eyes betrayed her mind drifting exactly there. "On a warm summer day a couple of days after I turned eight, my parents took me and my sister out for a picnic. At some point, me and my sister were playing tag when we stumbled upon the barn of a small farmer. We wanted to check the place out, so we sneaked into the barn and found the hay attic. Imagine our elation to find a room filled with soft fluffy hay. We enthusiastically played without a care in the world. That was until the farmer found us and looked angry. My sister and I both nearly shat our pants right then and there. The man looked mad. Overwhelmed by the moment Something in my hands sparks a small ember. I look at it, mesmerized and I still feel what I thought was a tingly feeling of energy flowing I did not previously know existed. I watched the ember float closer and closer into the bone dry hay only to see it ignite. The flame grew quickly and threatened to engulf the entire barn within minutes. Imagine our surprise when the flame just as easily winked out of existence while a red glow surrounded him. Turned out the man was a wizard, but now that he was too old to fight and defend the world as he once did, he now lived a quiet life on the farm. The farmer helped us back to our parents and everything was sorted out rather easily, though I was grounded for two weeks for sneaking off like that."

The blue haired woman mouth slowly drops open as the story unfolds. While she did want to correct some of her roommates grammar, she couldn't bring herself to do so. "That was a very interesting, if not a very dangerous way to learn about your powers Vivian. I guess all you needed was the right situation to spark the discovery."

Vivian snickered at the joke and replied: "And imagine the shock it was for them when I started using electricity magic too. But that story isn't by far as interesting as with fire."

Snow giggles a bit at the shock joked, but she shakes her head, "I'd still love to hear that story as well, even if its not as interesting."

"Oh, that was just a minor accident, but nothing I complain about," she started and showed a hint of a mischievous grin. "The next day at school I told about my adventures with the barn but there was some boy who didn't believe me, so I actually showed him some fire and I slightly scalded his hindquarters. When the teachers made me apologized I felt so spiteful that when I was forced to shake hands, I shocked him. Best week of detention I have had."

Snow hadn't a clue what to say on it, but would think a moment on that. "That's a rather...odd way to discover a power, but I'm sure it's not the oddest." The blue haired fairy looks to Xanthe, still wanting to hear her story.

"Sounds like you are a bit of a rebel" Xanthe replied, thinking around that time 6 years ago.

"I'm not a rebel, some people are just way too rigid," she replied with a determined chuckle at the end. "But what's your story? I'm kinda curious I must admit. Also, how did you rise to stardom that quickly?"

"That I am still confused to this day" Xanthe replied, "It was like, I was in a talent show, then the next, I had people chanting my name. It was crazy."

"Those people must have really liked you Xanthe to help you get as far as you did." Snow say to her, but that still made her wonder how her dormmate unlocked the magic inside her.

"The thing was, at my last concert before my hiatus, something shot out of my hand, the crowd thought it was an effect, and funny enough, so did I. It's a weird way to activate someone's powers, don't you think?" Xanthe continued.

Well that answers my question. Snow thought to herself, but she nods to the question, "A very weird way to find your power, but its one that suits who you are Xanthe. Now you know what you had inside and so do your fans, they must be supporting you through this."
