Shinra nodded to Roll in acknowledgement as he left the dorm. He then took a seat on the couch nearest Luciel and extended a hand. "Shinra von Glaz." He said.

Meanwhile, Scrap the dozing catmaton stretched and purred from his spot atop a bookcase.

Luciel looked down at the extended hand, reaching over to give the other male a firm handshake. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance." He greeted as he released his grip. He leaned back into his spot and looked over towards Scrap curiously.

Scrap just paused in his lounging and peered down at the elf. "Mrow?" The cat-maton cocked his heat.

"Ah, right. That's Scrap, my cat." Shinra said. "Scrap, this is Luciel. Try not to hide his shoes. Or clothes. Or anything else of his."

Scrap's tail just twitched.

Luciel cocked his head in-tandem with the cat, watching the machine-creature with a curious gaze. When Shinra spoke again, his attention turned back to him. "Hide?" He asked. Oh geez, was he going to have to keep things in a suitcase?

Shinra grunted and nodded, going over to the bookcase Scrap was perched on. He put up a hand and the cat-maton sniffed then nuzzled the fingers. "He's a bit of a prankster." The teenager responded, then frowned. "Scratch that; he's a massive prankster. He likes hiding things."

Scrap let out a mechanical purr as Shinra scritched his ears. The tail twitched happily.

"Ah, so like most felines." Luciel finally jested, giving a flash of a smile as he watched the two. "I've yet to meet one that wasn't some level of a prankster. I will be sure to keep things put away so he can't get into them."

Riven grits his teeth angrily, not terribly happy to be interrupt during his training to play delivery boy for Timmy. He could have easily given this item to the two freshmen living in gemini. He knocks on the door a few times in a pretty angry manner.

"To be fair, Astera isn't exactly well known either----." Without getting more words out, there was a rather angry knock. Luciel looked up from where he had been paying attention and rose a brow. With a grunt, the elf stood up and moved over to the door, opening it. "Yes?"

Shinra blinked and looked between the elf and the...cranky redhead. Ah. It's the cocky bloke from class earlier. He thought. "Um. Thanks?"

Scrap made an offended noise at the newcomer from where he was curled around Shinra's shoulders.

Luciel's eyes slightly narrowed. "Thank you... Is that all?" He asked. The elf knew he could be antisocial and come off as mean, but this male just came off as a right dick. "If that's it, we were having a conversation." A not so 'polite' saying of 'how about you piss off'.

Shinra didn't say anything, but just frowned and raised an eyebrow at the redhead's tone. Yeesh. Who got his underwear in a knot? He thought.

The elf just stared after him. "Must have low self-esteem." He grumbled to himself. Did the boy really think Luciel cares about 'competing' with someone he didn't even know? He rolled his eyes and turned towards Shinra, "I'm sorry, where were we?"

Shinra just gave Riven's retreating back a funny look as the redhead left. He shrugged as he addressed Luciel. "Our homeworlds, at least until King Crankpants popped up." He replied. "And I haven't heard of Astera, no. What's it like?"

Luciel nodded, turning back towards Shinra, "It's a dark planet, doesn't get much sun. The closest we have is a star that gives just enough." He shook his head, walking over and sitting back down where he had been prior. "But it's got an old feel if you go to the main capital and some of the surrounding villages..." He trailed off, as if deciding if there was anything else worth mentioning.

By now Shinra had perched himself on the arm of one of the chairs. He frowned slightly at the pause. "Something wrong?"

Shinra made a sound in the back of his throat. "I probably will, for one reason or another, at some point." He rubbed the back of his neck, earning a grumble from the cat on his shoulders. "What reason it'd be for, though..." he raised a hand and made an 'ehh' motion with it, rocking it back and forth, palm-down. "Up for debate."

Having spent the night on the couch due to just pure exhaustion, Roll slowly wakes up and turns on the TV to catch if anything was even on. He wasn't even sure his roommates were awake yet, so he keeps the volume down.

The dorm's mail system hums as letters, magazines and at least two small packages pop out of a wall slot and deposited on a table without much fuss.
