Dorm Beta

Autumn smiles at her and gently places out her hand, "It's nice to meet you Tsol."

She shakes it. "Nice to meet you too..." she bites her lip, trying to remember her name. Her head was focused on other things ever since she entered this room. She tried hard to remember Autumn's name, but then just decided to ask. Couldn't be that bad.

For once she was a bit more confident the possibilities wouldn't come to the present.

"What's your name again?" she laughed a little.

"It's Autumn." The girl answers kindly, giving a gentle smile.

All of a sudden the door of Zaflore's room opened just a crack and a peeking eye could be seen watching Tsol and Autumn.

"Oh, thanks! Well, it was nice to meet you, Autumn," she replied. "Anyway, I should be going to my room." She turned around and saw a little bit of light from the door.

"H-Hi," Tsol said, a bit nervous.

Zaflore muttered an oath when her nightlight have her away and opened the door a bit further, matching Tsol's mood, if not even more a nervous wreck. Zaf's head popped out and she looked around. "Are you new too?" she asked almost in a whisper.

"Me? Uh-" she fidgeted her hands in anxiousness. "Me, I'm- yes, yes."

Zaflore seemed to relax, if only a little and opened the door a bit further. She stifled a yawn. "What are you doing so late?" she wondered, skipping formalities all together.

"Uhm, I guess that's just how I turned out I guess," she said, looking to the side for a moment.

"Maybe it's not that I'm late, maybe I'm just not a fairy," she chuckled, saddening.

Zaflore looked at her confused. "What do you mean?" she asked wonderingly. "You're a student here, right?"

She bit her lip.

"Crap," she muttered, tightening her hands into a fist. "I mean, I- I haven't transformed, but... wait you meant late because..."

She peered back at the window, a darkening painting framed with stars. "Haha, just forget what I said, it was a joke! Yeah, a big joke."

She tightened even more. Tsol, letting her head peer down, chuckled to herself in a pathetic tone, as quiet as a sorrowful spirit can, "A big, dumb joke..."

Zaflore fully opened the door and revealed herself. She wore a white nightgown covered in a pattern of differently sized yellow moons and stars. "I guess that makes two of us," Zaf said and looked at Tsol to gauge the reaction.

She gazed up at Zaf, smiling. "Hah," she smirked, looking in a twisted glow of an expression. She then realized how pathetic she was acting. She looked over to the window.

She looked over at the door, then to Autumn. "Do you know where the library-ry is?"

The girl shakes her head with a frown, "I haven't really explored the school at all, so I haven't any idea where it is. Sorry."

"Want to, um, find it..?" she asked. She actually wanted to find something else, with someone. She trusted them. At least, with her first name.

"Well." Autumn begins, looking out at the darkness outside the window. "It's kind of late and we may get caught if we go out to find it, but I do kind of want to figure out where it is. Maybe a quick trip there and back again."

"The library is downstairs. But Autumn is right. How about we go to sleep and explore it together maybe?" Zaf suggested shyly.

"That might be the better option Tsol." Autumn admits to the new roomie with a nod, "We can go tomorrow just the three us to find it."

"Eh, sure," she says. "Anyway, I guess I'll go to sleep. Bye!"

She begins to walk forward to her door. Her eyes peered up at the sign, "TSOL." Everyone could see it. It made her rather uncomfortable.

The sign was just taped to the wall next to the door, she could just take it down when she wanted too.

"Night Tsol." Autumn answers gently, wondering if she would be alright. The girl yawns slightly, feeling it might be time to finally sleep.

Zaf just nodded sleepily and was quick to follow Autumn's example.

Autumn yawns once more and moves slowly to her room, find her way through the cluttered room to her bed. She falls onto the sheets and curls up with her pillow before drifting off. She didn't even mind the nightlight that was shinning in the room.

She smiled back at the two lightly before Autumn exited. She walked into the room, or rather, her room, though it was so blank and empty she could hardly call it that. Not in a sense of blank in furniture, but blank in her. Still not washed over with herself and her feelings. Her hardships.

She sighed, plopping down a suitcase she had been rolling for the whole while. Tsol took out her necklace case and put her ... she didn't dare call it hers. It wasn't hers. It was - nevermind such rambling and indecision of word choice, she put down the necklace. That was all.

She put it on the bedside table. The water fairy put her blankets onto the bed, as well as her single pillow. As she wiggled in awkwardly, she peered around the room. It felt strangely nice, but too nice, as in a place she'd never be in normally. She didn't feel at home here. Tsol, to be absolutely honest, felt completely not at-

Her thinkings grew to slivers of silk, as her mind wandered till it fell. It fell into the dark, safe sphere that is sleep.

"Tell me about your world Noko, what is Solaria like?" she wondered. Even the name sounded good bearing sol itself.

"Well the world is one of light and warmth." Nokomis answers, looking around the main dorm as she enters. "It's has three suns and the second one is said to be magical in nature and is controlled by the Radius, the king and its apparently tied to his health as well. The planet is also known for its the little rain it does get, but plants and animals flourish with little effort. The history is very rich and stretches back quiet a long ways."
