Zaflore hummed and nodded. Feeling reassured she spread the blanket to make ample room for the two others to lay on as well.

Returning to see the beach, Noko smiles to see both her friends doing whatever it is they were up to. Not wanting to miss out on the fun, she enters a change station to don her swim suit.

Zaflore fell asleep while she had a loop of her bag tried around her leg to be awakened if it was disturbed. Other than that she was the pure image of tranquility, softly snoring though somehow managing to slightly smile as well in her sleep.

However the crystal was structured, Miave had attempted to climb it, and was perched upon the highest point she could reach, waiting to see if she felt any kind of special effect from the exposure.

In the back of her head, Miave heard a small gong like sound as the crystal began to glow. A peaceful sound filled the air as some birds landed on the girl, one landed on her head.

Miave tensed a bit when the crystal began to glow, ready to hop off if this was some kind of defense mechanism, but the soft light and gentle sound quickly calmed her. She didn't know if she'd ever been this relaxed, though when the birds landed on her she was still pretty excited about it.

She looked back to the beach to see if Zaf could see her. The girl appeared to be asleep, and Noko still hadn't returned to the blanket. At least she had the birds for company.

Exiting the changing booth in her swim suit, Noko slowly walks across the sand to where is lay and stops at the foot of the blanket, placing her things down right on the edge of it. She spies her the other fairy out on the crystal and gives her a quick wave.

Miave waved back as exuberantly as she could without disturbing any of her new avian acquaintances.

Deciding she would swim out there, Noko digs her right foot into the sand rather hard as she heads for water, kicking some backwards onto the blanket. Once at the water's edge, the girl just wades in to the water and begins to breast stroke through the water.

Zaf got a mouthful of sand and sputtered a little as she got up. "Ah, Noko's back," she said while nodding to herself and at the same time she spotted Miave on the crystal with... birds? Curiosity sparked, Zaf headed for the crystal and asked: "Making friends?"

"They just showed up!" Miave said excitedly, watching from above as Zaflore approached. "Maybe that's what this crystal does, maybe it's actually a bird crystal. Here, come up here and see if they land on you, too." She looked out over the water again, trying to find Noko and gesturing her over once she laid eyes on her. "Noko! Come see if the birds like you!"

Zaf chuckled awkwardly as she approached the crystal and shook her head. "Nah, I'm alright," she said. Tight the instant she said she wouldn't her hand would contact the crystal.

Noko carefully climbs up next to Miave and takes a seat, waiting to see if the birds reacted in the same way to her friend. She felt a tad nervous just waiting for birds to react.

"Here, go see Noko," Miave cooed gently, giving one of the birds a small prod over towards the fairy.

The crystal gives off a soft calming glow once more along with the peaceful low sound filling the air. Zaf would also hear a soft gong like sound in the back of her head due to her hand on the side of the crystal, as well as feel a calm wash over here. Three of the birds react to what Miave had said.

One flies over to Noko and landing on her knee and gives a soft happy chirp, while the other two fly over to edge of the crystal to look at Zaf with curiosity. Their eyes seemed like they were saying to come up on the crystal so they could show her attention. One would even go over to her hand and try to rub its head against it.

Zaf felt the effects of the crystal and actually let go for a second. She sat herself down cross-legged in front of the crystal and touched it again, this time also channeling a trickle of magic into the thing, somewhat similar to a reduced version of her low level light spell to see if it would incur any sort of reaction. She felt a connection with the thing, and wondered how far it'd go.

Lulled by the seep relaxed feeling of both the binary star enhanced by the crystal, she might overdo it with the actual amount of magic she channels into the thing if a reaction doesn't come quickly enough.

The crystal's glow increase, adding a soft aura of a rainbow at its top. In reaction to the spell, the crystal vibrates very gently and releases a relaxing wave of warmth to it's surrounds as a sort of thank you. It would affect anyone within a ten foot radius of it.

Zaf nodded slowly to herself and started to mess a little with the amount of magic she channeled into the thing, checking if the reaction would go along with her pattern.

Once again, the crystal gently vibrates and releases a wave of warmth, along with brightening its light very slightly. A soft calming hum beings to emanate from the object as well.

"You guys hearing this?" Zaf asked while she looked at the two sitting on the thing.

"I've only heard stories of the crystal's harmonic hum. How'd you do it?" Noko answers, petting the bird gently. She also enjoyed the soft warmth that the crystal is giving off.

"Woah-" Miave grunted, gripping to the crystal a bit tighter when it started to vibrate. The warm aura quickly calmed her, though, and she relaxed again, returning to gently scratching the head of any bird who came near. Soon the hum began, and the dancing rainbow aura above her head caught her attention.

"Aaah, it's pretty!" she said, smiling at the general good vibes the thing was putting out. "Whatever it is you're doing, I think it likes it."

"I'n not sure," Zaf replies as she focuses more intently on what exactly she was ding. "I'm like casting a spell into the thing, but at the same time I'm interacting with the magic in the crystal I think," Zaf explained to the best extent of her knowledge. She then tried to channel in a bigger surge of magic to see if that would do something else.

The hum has another layer added to it, making it a sort of melody. The light collecting from the top of the crystal becomes more brilliant as well. No new warmth however is released from it.

Zaflore beamed when she accomplished the melodious hum but had to let go fairly quickly. Sustaining her magic like that taxed her, especially something that felt so strange. A small sheen of sweat glistened her face. "This is amazing," she said. "You guys should try this too!" she suggested.
