The Karaoke Bar

Piff just looks confused to what they were even speaking about, "Inoa Inoa?" She blabs in confusion. She had to wonder they thought she was speaking about her bonded fairy. She sips more of her drink, looking intently at Lockette.

"I'm set for now, thanks," Sonya said, taking a sip of her coffee after it was placed in front of her. She watched the pixie again, but had no idea what "inoa" was. "Sorry, sweetheart, you lost me." She looked around the table in hopes that someone could act as a translator.

"She said, she wasn't even speaking about Aisha. It was about something else." Lockette pips up after the fairy asks for a clarification. She tips her drink a bit to the side, a few drops of smoothie fly from the glass to the table that is on the other side of the girls.

"Oh, then sorry for the misunderstanding." Sonya still had no idea what the young pixie actually did want, but by this point, she figured it wasn't her job to figure it out. If it had something to do with her, it would get figured out eventually by someone who spoke the kid's language. She instead turned her attention to the rest of the group, specifically the blonde who had invited her to the table. "Are you guys here for Alfea, too?"

"Yeah. We moved in as students today. We're in Dorm Alpha, and Roxy here is our Dorm buddy who will check up on us now and again" Xanthe replied.

Vivian hopped over towards the guys who entered the karaoke bar a little while ago. Now all her company was otherwisely occupied she enthusiastically said: "Hey Roll, Who's your friend?" She asked while studying the unfamiliar guy without bothering to hide it.

Surprised by Vivian's sudden arrival, Roll elbows his drink, tipping it over onto the table. "Hello Vivian, this is my roommate, Shrina." He answers her, grabbing several napkins to clean up the mess.

"Are you starting Alfea this year as well then?" Roxy inquires of the girl, picking up her drink and stirring it with her straw. In the back of her mind while waiting on the answer, she begins to contemplate singing a song from Solaria or even Zenith.

Vivian chuckled softly as the drink spilled all over. "Glad to meet you Shrina," she said and eyeballed him some more. "What a coincidence, that of all the places in this huge city, we meet again here!"

"That it is." Roll nabs more napkins to finish the clean up, "I was just showing Shinra around town since he's new to Magix and I figured this would be a good place to meet some people."

"You're right," she said as she looked Roll struggle to clean the table. "Hey, how about we ask the barkeep for a towel, I don't think you're the first one to spill a drink, comes with the business and whatnot," Vivian suggested when she couldn't stand to look at it anymore.

"I'm nearly done, but that is a good idea." Roll concedes on the point that the younger student made. "I'll be right back with that towel." The young man steps away from the table and heads over to the bar. "Excuse me, but could I borrow a towel to clean up my drink that I spilled?"

"I am," Sonya answered, leaning back in her chair and taking another drink of her coffee. "I'm not sure which dorm I'm in yet, though. Wanted to take a look around the city before getting stuck in school. Are any of you from around here?"

Snow shakes her head to the question, "Sorry, I'm from Domino. I don't know the city that well myself."

Sonya's eyes widened a bit. "Domino?" She'd yet to meet anyone from the newly-freed planet. "Sounds like you'll be learning you way around, too, then. How do you like Magix so far?"

"I am, but I hope my roommates will help me out with that from time to time if I need it. I'm liking the city quiet a bit. It seems friendly and inviting." Snow answers politely, smiling lightly.

"That's good to hear, it should make it pretty easy for all of us to get our bearings." Sonya's attention was drawn by the sudden small commotion at the next table, but it looked like someone just spilled a drink. "Are you all dorm mates, then?" she asked, looking back around her own table.

"We three are." Snow gestures to Xanthe and Vivian with a quick point of her finger, "Roxy as was said is our dorm buddy and lives some place else."

Xanthe gave a little wave before checking her phone to see how much time I have left.

Xanthe didn't have much time left to her shift, only like five minutes to go.

"I have about 5 minutes left, so I have to leave you guys till my shift is over" Xanthe replied, getting up and taking her glass.

Snow gives Xanthe a nod, "Too bad your shift couldn't be over now so you could have more fun with."

Vivian smiled and reached out a hand. "I'm Vivian." She said. "You must be one of them specialists like Roll over there," she cloncluded near immediately, though her eyes had a slight shimmer of awe to them, meeting the aspiring warriors of legend.
