Dinning hall

Xanthe reentered the diming hall, and began to scan around for an empty space to sit.
Where is it.... she thought to herself.

"I don't think you need to do that. There are probably others in our class that are just starting to learn about their powers as well." She looks at Zaf's fingers questioningly, noticing the blowing action on them, "But are you alright?"

The hall of course had several empty seats at many tables. One of the closest was a table with only two people, a red head and a magenta haired woman. Another table had several open seats and if one strained their eyes they could see someone with blue hair at it. The table with a blonde girl in a white dress also had several open seat, as well as a table with a brown haired fairy talking to a silver haired girl. There were other places open as well with various girls speaking and gossiping.

Xanthe decided to head towards the red head and magenta head. It has the most empty spaces and of course, the pair seems friendly.

A set of girls would cross in front of Xanthe and one glances at her and looks away. The girl blinks and looks back at Xanthe and her mouth drops open, "Y...y....y....you're Xanthe Diamond! No it can't be you said you were taking a break, not going to freaking school!" Upon the scream of Xanthe's name, several students have their heads pop up from their conversations and meals and they all murmur and some even get up to see if it was really her. Upon seeing so, some of the students scream in pure joy and at least one or two magic up autograph books.

Oh crap! Xanthe thought and began to walk backwards, I...I thought it would be a few more days... She turned around and began to run.

Several of the girls, those with the autograph books included, start chasing after Xanthe, waiting to get her autograph or at least ask her questions about why she was going to Alfea or just to get free concert tickets. In all about 15 to 20 students were surging after her.

Xanthe darted out the door.
"No, no, no! Why??" she cried out.

The crowd would follow Xanthe right out of the dinning hall. They really wanted to get her autograph or other things.

Xanthe re=entered the hall, then grabbed a few pieces of toast and yogurt. She scanned to see if the pair of girls was still in the room.

The two women were still at the table as they were before, one of them focused on something.

Xanthe gave a sigh of relief and headed towards them.
"Excuse me, but can I sit next to you?" she asked the red head.

"Of course you can." Bloom gives her an inviting smile so this student would feel more welcome.

"That should do it Bloom." The pink haired girl closes the back of the phone and pushes it over to her dorm mate while it boots back up. "With the upgrade I gave it shouldn't break anytime soon."

The red head takes her phone and breaths a sigh of relief, "Thanks Tecna, I was expecting a call from my mother and I didn't want to miss it." She looks over to the new girl with a look of embarrassment, "Sorry, I should have asked what your name is. That was rude of me. I'm Bloom."

"Nice to meet you Bloom, I'm Xanthe" the girl replied, sitting next to Bloom, and gave a sigh of relief.

Zaflore nodded. "I'm okay, just really bad at this magic thing," she said and focused on her food while her face flushed red in shame.

"Truth be told, I was bad at it myself when I first found my power. You'll get used to it, trust me." Noko goes back to her meal, taking a few bites of what she had.

The pink haired girl summons a holo screen to her right to check on something, but turns her attention to the new student, "It's good meeting you Xanthe, I'm Tecna. Am I right in assuming those students that were acting all wild were chasing you?"

"Fair enough," Zaf replied calmly. "By the way, I'm Zaflore," she added and extended a hand while smiling weakly.

"Nokomis." The girl answers with smiling lightly, reaching out to shake Zaf's hand.

Zaf gave perhaps a bit of a weak hand but her smile became stronger. "Nice name," she complimented. "You now know my magic, do you do light magic too since you live in Solari?"

"Thanks, your name is also" Giving back the compliment, but soon shakes her head, "I'm afraid I don't have light magic. I use moon magic like my mum. My grandfather uses light magic thought."

"The moon kinda does give off some light, it's a relief in many dark but clear nights," Zaf said in an approving tone and smiled broadly. "I'd go nuts if there was no moon, keep it up."

"But moon magic is more about using darkness and ice. It's possible for to refract light in a way, just like how light is refracted off any moon out there that we see." Noko says nervously, but gives a nod, "The light bouncing off moons is rather relaxing and soothing as well."
